Common questions

Questions about parent and caregiver support.

Who is this for?

Parents and other caregivers age 18 and older throughout the United States who care for a child or an adult.

What can I talk about?

You choose. Conversations can include caregiving concerns and other parts of your own life. You do not need to prepare a question or set a goal before reaching out.

Is there a cost?

There is no cost to participate.

Who will I meet with?

A member of our team. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst reviews the team member’s work between meetings, including recordings. The BCBA does not attend caregiver meetings.

Will I have assignments?

There is no required homework. This support does not ask you to deliver an intervention or carry out treatment with the person you care for. Information and suggestions are offered when wanted; you decide what is useful to you.

Will I meet with the same person?

The same team member where possible. If the person changes, we plan a handover with advance notice and an introduction.

How long and how often are meetings?

Typically twice a month for 30–45 minutes over Zoom.

How long can I participate?

There is no preset endpoint. Periodic check-ins give you a chance to discuss whether you want to continue and whether the support still fits. Continuing depends on your wishes and program capacity.

Can I get support between meetings?

Between-meeting contact is for scheduling only. Support happens during meetings.

Are meetings recorded?

Yes. All meetings are recorded for training and supervision. Only your assigned team member and assigned BCBA supervisor can access recordings. They are destroyed immediately after review and never kept longer than 30 days. Your assigned team member also keeps written meeting notes, accessible only to your assigned team member and BCBA.

What happens after I inquire?

We contact you within 1–2 business days with next steps. If you decide to participate, we share a short intake form to prepare for your first meeting, including scheduling, preferences, and participation and recording consent.

Have another question?

You can ask when our team contacts you. Inquiring does not commit you to joining.
